Saadi Wakhri Hai Shaan the Punjabi movie being made by VIBGYOR CREATIONS production house went on floors on 18 Feb 2011. VIBGYOR CREATIONS is a joint venture of Dr Inder Roop Singh Ghuman, Dr Sukhpal Singh Mangat from DORAHA and Er Bikram Singh Gill who is settled in USA, with Harpartap Brar as an associate producer.
This movie is a tribute to the never say die spirit of Punjabis who thrive in the most inhospitable environs whether in India or abroad. It is a canvas painted with lot of painstaking labour of creativity depicting the ANAKHH, bravery, chivalry and stand above the crowd nature of the PUNJABIS.
The movie has been nurtured like a dream in the mind of Dr Inder Roop Singh Ghuman for more than two years. He is the one who has written the script as well as lyrics of their maiden venture. Dr Ghuman is very confident that this is not a gamble of creativity but a very well planned, rehearsed and unique project and all three plan to carry on with Punjabi movie production in future also as they see a very different and bright future for Punjabi movies.
They noted that many Punjabi stars of bollywood are still hesitant to work in their mother tongue but are very hopeful that the tide is soon going to turn for the better with a very discerning and demanding home audience and overseas market for Punjabi movies in Canada, USA, UK and Australia.
The direction of this movie is in the able hands of S GURBIR SINGH GREWAL who has given sensitivemovie like MANNAT to the Punjabi cinema.
The movie ( Saadi Wakhri Hai Shaan ) star cast includes SANGRAM SINGH ( A MODEL TURNED ACTOR WHO ACTED IN the recent Punjabi movie – PURE PUNJABI), MANDY TAKHAR (WHO HAS ACTED IN BABBU MAAN’S EKAM AND is a leading lady in GIPPY GREWAL’S – MIRZA THE UNTOLD STORY), and well known Punjabi actors like BINNU DHILLON, GURPREET RATOL, HARPAL SINGH, SHIVENDRA MAHAL, TARSINDER THIND, ANEETA MEET and RANA RANBIR.
